Our mission is to teach people to be mindful of the impact of their choices, embrace personal growth, and to evaluate and improve their interactions with the ultimate goal of increasing communication skills which leads to success and happiness.

More than just a smile. Living a Positive Approaches Life isn’t just about smiling, it’s about improving your attitude in every area of your life. We teach new skills to handle things differently than we have in the past.
Training•Coaching•Mentoring
Positive Approaches Life Classes are designed to mentor, train, and coach direct support professionals and the people they support through class discussions and 1:1 training if desired. Corporate training and new mentor training classes also available.
About classes
Classes are fun and interactive where everyone has an opportunity to talk about their experiences and difficulties. Each interaction is an opportunity to increase life skills. The ability to interact with others and communicate your thoughts are keys to success and happiness.

In 2008, Dee Kerby started Positive Approaches after seeing the need for people to better understand their emotions, the impact of
choices, and improve communication skills.
Dee has a passion for teaching the Positive Approaches Life program to people of all ages and abilities. By expanding the original program to include-not only her target students-but also their friends, mentors, and the students’ families, the improvements in handling change and unexpected problems are evident to everyone.
